How it works

The matching is the magic.
The rest is good logistics.

Any decent operator can book hotels. What we obsess over is who is sitting next to you at dinner. Here is the full picture, honestly told.

1

Tell us your stage

Join the waitlist. When a route opens for your group, you fill a short form: your life-stage, how you travel, what drains you, what restores you.

2

We match the group

Life-stage is the hard filter, never mixed. Temperament is the fine sort within it. 8 to 12 people, verified, curated by a human.

3

We handle the route

Stays, transport, food, pace and a RouteKin host who travels with you. You get one WhatsApp group and zero vendor calls.

4

You keep the people

The route ends. The group chat usually does not. That afterlife is our real success metric.

The two-layer match

Life-stage first, temperament second

A single parent and a startup founder do not gel just because both are "identity-based travellers". So we never mix stages on a trip. Within a stage, we sort by temperament: pace, noise tolerance, morning-person-ness, how much togetherness feels good.

Layer one: life-stage

The hard filter. Everyone on your trip shares your season of life. This is what makes belonging instant, and it is the one rule we will never bend for occupancy.

Layer two: temperament

The fine sort. Within your stage, we group compatible energies. The 6 am trekkers travel together. So do the read-by-the-pool people. Nobody has to apologise for their pace.

FAQ

Is this a dating thing?

No. RouteKin groups are built for friendship and ease, not matchmaking. If two adults happen to like each other, that is their business, but nothing about the trip is designed for it and we never market it that way.

How do you verify travellers?

Every adult completes government ID verification before joining a group, plus a conversation with our team. For single-parent trips, where children are present, this is non-negotiable and stricter than industry norm.

What does a trip cost?

Pricing for the first routes is being finalised with on-ground partners and goes to the waitlist first. We will not publish placeholder numbers. When you see a price from us, it will be real, inclusive and final.

What if I don't gel with the group?

The matching exists to make this rare, but people are people. Our host actively manages group dynamics on trip, and every trip has enough unstructured time that you can take space without drama. Your feedback after the trip directly shapes the next match.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes, if they fit the trip's life-stage. A fellow single parent on a single-parent route, absolutely. A plus-one from a different stage, no, because that quietly breaks the thing everyone came for.

How big are the groups?

8 to 12 people. Under 8 loses the energy. Over 12 and someone becomes invisible. On family routes this means roughly 6 to 8 families.

Which cities do trips start from?

The first routes assemble in Delhi and Bengaluru. If you are elsewhere, we help you sync arrivals so you join the group at the start point, never mid-route alone.

What is included?

Stays, ground transport on route, most meals, activities on the itinerary and a RouteKin host throughout. Flights or trains to the start point are yours, though we coordinate the group's bookings so you travel together where possible.

When is the first trip?

We are pre-launch. The first single-parent routes are targeted for the October to December 2026 window, and confirmed dates go to the waitlist before anywhere else.
