The shape of the trip

Day 1 · Arrive and unclench

Train or road from Delhi to Sawai Madhopur, together as a group. Check in, pool time, early dinner. Kids find the pack. Adults find their chairs.

Day 2 · First safari

Morning drive into Ranthambore National Park in shared canters or gypsies, one adult never alone with all the bags. Afternoon is free by design. Nap, swim or do nothing and feel no guilt.

Day 3 · Second safari, different zone

Another drive, better odds, and by now the kids have a bird checklist rivalry going. Evening campfire with the whole group.

Day 4 · Jaipur, the easy version

One fort, one good lunch, one bazaar hour with a hard stop. Then home. No forced sunrise, no seven-monument march.
